One of Victor Garber's most notable film roles to date is his charismatic performance as the architect of the ill-fated ship in Titanic, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet. Also on the big screen he performed opposite Goldie Hawn in The First Wives Club and Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan in Sleepless in Seattle.
Garber's numerous television credits include Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows, for which he was nominated for an Emmy; Annie; Invisible Child; and Love And Murder. His episodic work includes guest-starring roles on The Outer Limits, Law & Order and Frasier, the latter of which garnered him another Emmy nomination.
Garber's stage performances are legendary. He has earned four Tony nominations for his work on Damn Yankees, Lend Me A Tenor, Deathtrap and Little Me.
In 2001, he co-starred with America's sweetheart, Reese Witherpoon in the hit comedy Legally Blonde.
Despite Victors tense on-screen persona as Spy!Daddy, Jack Bristow, if you take a look at the picture on the lower left hand corner, you can see that Victor is actually a fun-loving guy. He can make a good joke! In 2002, Victor got another Emmy nomination for his performance as Jack on Alias, and he also stars in the movie Tuck Everlasting, starring Alexis Bledel and Jonathan Jackson. You can also catch him in the film Muic Man with Matthew Broderick. |
